Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026
ScreenScore is built privacy-first. We don't run ads, we don't sell your data, and we collect only what's needed to run your account and subscription. This policy explains what that means in plain terms.
Who We Are
ScreenScore ("ScreenScore," "we," "us") operates the website at screenscore.tv and the ScreenScore web application. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at our support page.
What We Collect
We keep data collection to a minimum. The information we hold is:
- Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password, used to create and access your account.
- Subscription status: whether your account is active, and your plan tier (monthly or lifetime). Payment card details are handled entirely by our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number.
- Preferences: settings like favorite teams, color choices, and layout options. Where possible these are stored on your own device rather than on our servers.
- Basic technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) generated automatically when you load the site, used for security and reliability.
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not track your browsing across other websites.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
- We do not serve advertising or share data with advertisers.
- We do not build advertising profiles based on your viewing habits.
How We Use Your Information
We use the limited data we collect only to: provide and maintain your account, process your subscription, deliver live scores and the features you've enabled, respond to support requests, and keep the service secure and working properly.
Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run ScreenScore:
- Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which securely manages all card transactions. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by their own privacy policy.
- Account and data storage is provided by our hosting and database providers, used solely to operate the service.
- Sports data is sourced from publicly available scoreboard feeds. Viewing scores does not transmit any personal information about you to those sources.
Cookies & Local Storage
We use essential cookies and local browser storage to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure password hashing. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data using industry-standard practices.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us through the support page. You can also cancel your subscription at any time, and you may close your account, after which we will delete the associated personal data except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.
Children's Privacy
ScreenScore is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated through the service.
